Simple direct print of spring flowers
I am happy to say that we have now listed this lovely fern monoprint collection in our shop. It was quite simple not sure why this has taken so long !
Gool Peran Lowen! Happy St Piran’s Day! St Piran aparently ‘rediscovered’ tin-smelting (tin had been smelted in Cornwall since before the Romans’ arrival, but the methods had since been lost) when his black hearthstone, which was evidently a slab of tin-bearing ore, had the tin smelt out of it and rise to the top in the form of a white cross, thus the image on the flag”
Ferns in green and dark earthy brown… my ferns are a little past it now so these are from last year … . . . . . . . We will be listing these in our online shop later thus evening
Although these prints have been exhibited regularly they were not available online. I promised to set up an online shop rather too long ago.. Well!!! I have just listed the first set of monoprinted ferns in the all new impressions of nature shop… woohoo! A link to the website is in the bio … tiny steps :)
And on St David’s day my final post for today some beautiful cast daffodils … immortalised in cement 🏴💛💚💛🏴. . #StDavidsDay #Daffodils #Narcissi #Daffodils #InstaMuseum #Flowers #Botanical #Victorian #Flowerstagram #floweroftheday #Art #culture #walldecor #plasterart #wallart #sculpture #flowers #impressionsofnature
Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus” “Happy St. David’s Day”. . . . . #stdavidsday
I am hoping to pop some of these daffodils in my shop later if only I can get a good photo of them.. this is a monoprint on white paper believe it or not. I missed my opportunity with all the sun for a lovely bright daylight shot…
I can’t cast a hyacinth or make a monoprint from them because they are too fleshy … so I thought i would share something blue… ferns it is then!
In the garden in full bloom as I got home today obviously celebrating today’s glorious sunshine ☀️🌱🌼💛 smells amazing too!
