The Adventure Begins

We are setting out on a new adventure ..Alexander McQueen said “There is no better designer than Nature” This project really began in 2002 casting objects found on our smallholding, some excavated by our pigs…influenced by the work of Mark Dion, Rachael Whiteread, Cornelia Parker, Doris Salcedo, the Boyle Family and many others we began to explore or environment… we aim to bring the unseen into view and celebrate the unexpected detail in everything…our processes range from printmaking to mould making to casting in a variety of materials, including precious metals, cement, plaster, jesmonite, cold cast bronze and marble.  We will be running workshops and taking part in exhibitions over the following months.

We have set up an instagram account a facebook page and a website

Here are a few images of some of our pieces so far

Impressions Of Nature

John Virtue in conversation with Andrew Graham Dixon said “Walking and drawing…these works were a visual diary of my existence of each day, the drawings are like walking through your own life…its about mortality”…

Picasso said “Je Suis Le Cahier: I am my sketchbooks…”
